CPTS stands for "Ça Peut Toujours Servir", or "it might come in handy".
This is a music player, made from junk hardware found in my attic.
I just bought an old 1956 radio, Ducastel Frères, Paris. The rest is a K6-2 PC mainboard, a 80GB hard disk drive, an ISA Sound Blaster card, which happen to have a amplifier on-board, and a pair of car speakers.
It runs Debian GNU/Linux, the Music Player Daemon server, and the ncmpc client displayed on a Palm Vx, as the interface for it.
As MPD have many available clients, I may replace the serial wired Palm with a bluetooth phone someday.
